Do you have a question about our chai? You might find the answer in our FAQ.
We cook our spices according to Ayurvedic tradition and thus produce a unique decoction (Kvatha), which we boil down, with the natural preservative whole cane sugar, that has been tried and tested for thousands of years. Our chai is not only characterised by the high quality and enjoyment standards of our founder, but also by her passion for Ayurveda.
Short answer: yes :)
Yes... But - in Ayurveda and in many natural healing methods, labour is induced with the help of tea containing cinnamon. You can safely consume 2 cups (approx. 40 ml chai syrup) daily.
At home, we recommend heating the milk or milk alternative in a small pot and frothing it up. Then pour a little chai (20 ml) into a cup and pour the warm milk over it. Easy - chai latte is ready to drink.
The founder Eva cooked the original recipe for herself and simply cannot tolerate black tea... but if you like drinking black tea, you can of course add a dash of chai and some milk - a pleasure!
Nope. We are an women owner managed family business.
Yep. Our products are 100% organic and our company is certified organic. You can find our certification here .
Only water, whole cane sugar, molasses and spices go into our boilers. We brew with care in a gluten-free environment.
Cassia is used in our masala. On the one hand, it is significantly spicier and we therefore consume less and the often-tried topic of coumarin is far less "dangerous" than is often the case. You can drink our chai without hesitation and will not have ingested a harmful amount of coumarin.
